Trekbuddy has support for maps. They need a special TAR file layout to work with Trekbuddy. Luckily it's simple to get them. Just open http://osm.bandnet.org/browse/ and find the area you want. Zoom to the size you want, too. After that click on "Create" in the "Create TrekBuddy map" area in the lower right. It will create a tar for you to download. Once you download the tar simply upload it to your mobile, open Trekbuddy and select "Open Map" in the menu. That's it.
